Orkus is the magazine for the German-speaking dark music scene, covering black music and culture with a focus on dark rock and dark metal. A classic and a trendsetter, Orkus provides in-depth coverage of the genres that inspire fans around the world. This subscription delivers the print edition directly to your door.

This magazine offers a mix of interviews, reports, short portraits, concert reviews, and album reviews. While its original focus was gothic rock, dark wave, and industrial, Orkus now primarily covers metal, medieval rock, alternative rock, Neue Deutsche Härte, J-Rock, electro, and future pop. The magazine also explores topics of interest to the scene beyond music, such as cemetery history and mysticism. A "nostalgia section" revisits musicians of the past.
