Welcome to Paper Magazines, your gateway to a world of international magazines. As we provide publications from around the globe, we have a unique working method to offer you the best price and service. Therefore, specific conditions apply, especially regarding delivery times and subscriptions. We have done our best to explain everything as clearly as possible.


Article 1 - Definitions

In these terms, the following definitions apply:

  1. Cooling-off Period: The period of 14 days within which you can exercise your right of withdrawal.
  2. Customer: You, the individual who is not acting in the exercise of a profession or business, and who enters into a distance selling contract with us.
  3. Right of Withdrawal: Your ability to cancel the distance selling contract within the cooling-off period.
  4. Subscription: An agreement for the regular delivery of magazines for a fixed and predetermined period.
  5. Distance Selling Contract: An agreement concluded between you and us through our online store.

Article 3 - Application

  1. These general conditions apply to any offer from us and to any order you place with us.
  2. Before placing an order, we make the text of these conditions clearly available to you. You can easily save them.

Article 4 - The Offer

  1. If an offer has a limited validity period, we will clearly indicate this.
  2. We always describe the magazines and subscriptions offered in a complete and accurate manner. The images we use are a faithful representation. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer do not bind us.
  3. Each offer contains clear information about your rights and obligations, such as the price including taxes, any shipping costs, and the method of payment.

Article 5 - The Contract

  1. The contract is concluded at the moment you accept our offer and meet the established conditions.
  2. After your order, we will immediately confirm receipt by email. Until you receive this confirmation, you can cancel the contract.
  3. We guarantee a secure web environment and a secure transfer of your data and payments.

Article 6 - Right of Withdrawal

  1. When purchasing physical products (except for the single sale of magazines, see Article 8), you have the option to cancel the contract without justification within 14 days. This period starts the day after receipt.
  2. During the withdrawal period, we expect you to handle the product and packaging with care.
  3. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us within 14 days after receipt. After that, you have another 14 days to return the product.

Article 7 - Costs of Withdrawal

  1. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the return costs are at your expense.
  2. If you have already paid, we will refund this amount as quickly as possible, but no later than 14 days after your notification of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or until you have provided proof that you have returned it.

Article 8 - Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

  1. The right of withdrawal is legally excluded for certain products. We always clearly indicate this in the offer. For our assortment, the main exception is:
  2. Single magazines and newspapers: Please note that for single issues of newspapers and magazines, a legal exception to the right of withdrawal applies. Once purchased, single issues cannot be returned.

Article 9 - The Price

  1. During the validity period of the offer, we do not increase prices, except in the case of changes in VAT rates.
  2. The prices mentioned in our offer include VAT.
  3. All prices are subject to printing and typographical errors.

Article 10 - Warranty

  1. We guarantee that our magazines and subscriptions comply with the contract and the specifications of the offer. You are entitled to a product free from defects.
  2. Any additional warranty given by us, the manufacturer, or the importer does not affect your legal rights.

Article 11 - Delivery and Execution

  1. We handle your order with the utmost care.
  2. Start Time for the First Issue: The start of an international subscription requires a bit of patience. The delivery time for the first issue depends on the publication frequency of the magazine and the country of origin. An indication of this 'start time' is always provided on the product page.
  3. Shipping and Delivery: To offer you the best possible price and service, we use a network of distributors and international publishers who handle shipping directly. Therefore, in most cases, it is not possible to provide a tracking number.
  4. Our Promise in Case of Problems: The risk of damage or loss is entirely on us until delivery. International shipping can sometimes be delayed or damaged. If this happens, you can count on our full support. We are your point of contact throughout the duration of the subscription and will do everything to resolve any issues for you.

Article 12 - Subscriptions: Duration and Renewal

  1. Fixed Duration, No Automatic Renewal: All our subscriptions are for a fixed period, usually one year, as indicated in your order. Your subscription automatically ends after this period. You are therefore not bound to anything.
  2. Non-Binding Renewal: Before the end of the subscription period, you will receive a non-binding invitation from us to renew. You choose whether you wish to start a new period. If you do not respond, your subscription automatically expires.

Article 13 - Payment

  1. You must pay the amounts due within the agreed timeframe.
  2. You are obliged to inform us immediately of any inaccuracies in the payment information provided.

Article 14 - Complaints Procedure

  1. If a magazine is damaged or does not arrive, or if you have any other comments about our service? Please inform us directly at contact@papermagazines.com. We will respond substantively within 14 days.
  2. If we cannot find a solution together? Then you can submit your dispute to ValuedShops for independent and free mediation. This can be done via this link.

Article 15 - Disputes

  1. In contracts between you and us, exclusively Dutch law applies.
